Access Creatives is a varied list of creative people; artists, designers, illustrators and so on. Their work is either easy to see, or uses other senses. If you are recruiting for a creative project and accessibility is important, there may be someone on this list who can assist you.

Mission Statement

Create Vision UK wants to assist organisations to develop excellent service for people with a visual impairment.  Every organisation can have clients who are blind or visually impaired; we think staff should have the relevant skills so they can meet individuals' needs.

We want organisations to look for innovative ways to increase accessibility and inclusion.  More than something that ‘should’ be done, we want this to be seen as an exciting challenge.

We want to help organisations inspire and motivate people with visual impairment.  Each individual should have the confidence to set high goals, and the support to reach their potential.

Particular areas of interest are to ensure that healthcare and post-16 education are of a high standard.  We are also keen to enable organisations to provide quality services to people with multiple disability or complex needs.

Considering a wider picture of equality, we are committed to ensuring that our services include everyone, and encouraging others to do the same through our work.

Top Tip: get the views of people from all your stakeholder groups to find out how they think you could make your services more inclusive.  The Equality Act (2010) brings together all equality strands: race,  gender, sexual orientation, etc.
