Access Creatives is a varied list of creative people; artists, designers, illustrators and so on. Their work is either easy to see, or uses other senses. If you are recruiting for a creative project and accessibility is important, there may be someone on this list who can assist you.

Accessible Learning Materials Accessible Learning Materials

The Equality Act (2010) requires colleges and universities to anticipate the needs of potential learners, in addition to catering for existing learners.  To assist with this, we can work with you to ensure that your learning materials are accessible.

The following are examples of how we can help:

  • Audit your existing materials: what is working well and what could be improved?
  • Advise on making long documents easier to navigate.
  • Advise on choice of fonts, colours, use of blank space, etc.
  • Reformat documents so that they follow 'Clear Print' guidelines.
  • Advise on clarity of diagrams - and when alternatives are needed.
  • Advise on use of PowerPoint presentations.
